Leadership Opportunities

Volunteering provides public relations professionals with opportunities to give back to their communities, the public relations field and communications students. It is also a great avenue for personal and professional development and a networking forum. PRSA encourages all of its members to consider utilizing their skills, experience and expertise by volunteering with PRSA.

Call for Volunteers: Paragon Awards Banquet

Volunteering provides public relations professionals with opportunities to give back to their communities. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to help with the annual Paragon Awards banquet, taking place ~ 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 in Mequon. Please plan to arrive an hour early for help setting up the venue (signage placement, place-setting, table organization, awards layout, etc.) and then stay after and help tear down (cleaning up the space and taking down signage, place-settings, anything that is PRSA-owned etc.) If interested, please email Emily Miller at [email protected]. 

Midwest District Conference Planning Committee

Our Chapter will host the Midwest District Conference in June 2025. There are several sub-committees with opportunities for volunteers, including event organization, programming, sponsorship, marketing and social media, and hospitality. 

Marketing and Communications Committee

PRSA has plenty of opportunities including creating and scheduling social media posts and assisting with the weekly newsletter.
